Introduction

My name is Eunice, a female from Singapore currently working in YMCA. I completed my studies in Murdoch University in Perth, Australia and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in streams of marketing and management last year. Kind of enjoyed myself during these few years in Perth- the freedom, the not so hectic pace, the cool weather, school life, the friends I made there etc. etc. When I first came back I could not really get used to life in Singapore, it seemed so hectic. However after 2 months I realised that I have somehow adapted to life back here. ( Phew.. thought that would not happen so fast at the rate I was going in the beginning. )

My Family

My family consist of my parents, Jack and Doris and I am the oldest of three children and the only girl. My two younger brothers are Winston and Reuben .

My Church

I am currently attending Bethel Assembly of God. The service is held at 10.30am on Sunday.

My Nick

I'm known as Nice and this has led to people coming up with things such as " You nice meh?" Just to clear things up before people start thinking that I am this person who has so huge an ego that I need everyone to know that I am nice. This nick came about when I first came to Perth, and since my name is Eunice, there was this person who went about calling me 'You Nice.' It soon spread and people were doing the 'You nice, I nice.' That's how the nick stuck. So now you know the origins of it. Stop asking whether I'm nice. Personally, I don't think I am particularly nice; I just happen to have a nick called Nice, it doesn't really reflect on my character.

My Character

Hmm OK, I am the first to admit I am not a person who really know myself very well, in fact I think I am often left confused with the way I react. However I can identify some of my more prominent traits and others with the help of friends.

I won't categorise which are my strengths and which are my weaknesses cause I don't see them as that, rather I view it in such a way that they can be both, the key here is to find the right balance, the appropriate amount used for the specific situation.

I guess one of the first thing that people often say about me is that I make them laugh, or rather I have a weird sense of humor.. why is it weird, I don't know, you have to ask my friends. True, I make people laugh, but because of that I hurt others too because they become the butt of my jokes.

Another trait is my analytical mind, used to reason, for reason. The good thing about it is that it is coupled with the ability to see into people's perspectives. To be able to see another's actions, and then know why that person does as he/she does, and how they must be feeling. But this gift is actually a double-edged sword, because I question too much, about why things happen, the way they happen, in my life, and with the limited capability of the humans' mind, I am forever left wondering.

There is one trait that I can't actually see, but I guess there must be some truth in it because quite a number of people have mentioned it to me on separate occasions. That is, I am a person of strength. This is how some people describe me: I may seem soft on the outside- generally with a don't care attitude, but actually I am firm on the inside- I have a strong will and character that is unperturbed by what others think. Hmm stubbornness perhaps.

Then there is the thing about me being too direct...... Enough said. This is just to wet your appetite, there is so much more to say but I don't really want to spoil the fun for you all, won't it be better to get to know me and find out the rest for yourself?

Things I like (in no particular order)
